Welcome to Academic Mentor. With extensive experience across schools, colleges, and universities, I have built a dynamic career in education—starting as a teacher and advancing to roles such as lecturer and research supervisor.
I have also worked as a curriculum and syllabus designer for International Qualifications London (IQL), NVQ Level 4 and 5. In the field of assessment, I have served as an ESOL examiner for over a decade, assessing thousands of writing scripts and conducting speaking tests.
One of my university research projects focused on the validity and reliability of language testing systems including IELTS and TOEFL. I am also an experienced editor, contributing to both book and journal publications by refining content to meet academic and publishing standards.
In digital education, I have worked for more than ten years as an instructional designer, developing online courses and interactive activities for both K–12 and tertiary learners, including Cambridge A Level courses.
